As an newbie to web technology, it was only recently that i started using Google Reader. Previously, i had to head to Channel News Asia, click on Technology and browse through the dates just to find a few updates i'm not interested in and head on to another site, e.g asiaone news and redo all the steps to get to the tech section. it really wastes time and its troublesome.

Google Reader is an easier way. The convenience is there. its timely too, as it shows all the latest news on the sections i'm interested in like, SEO, Tech, Internet, Web and i don't have to visit news portals and navigate around again(wasting time), i can select from where i wish to get the news from, e.g. Reuters, BBC, CNET, ZDNet..Its like having 1 radio station broadcasting the latest news from all around the world on one topic (or those i like), and not repeating itself (it dismisses those read items).
Sometimes i get news off Twitter too. interesting tips, news and all are often found off savvy twitterers.
